Welcome to our Page.....have a look around!
What started out as a way to get involved in our school and get to know various parts of our community as a new business has become probably one of the very best parts of B. Allan. The charities we chose quickly developed a theme: Children. Children in need of support - support in every imaginable way.
What started out as a tiny Trunk Show fundraiser in our office is now The Samantha Corpus Foundation. Every year we just look at John and Kathy in awe with what their foundation has become and the Joy they exude.
We were invited to support a young girl who survived a deadly skin disease and now wanted to provide a camp for kids in her situation to be together and experience the exhilaration of summer camp. Little did we know she'd be on Oprah a short time later as up in coming woman to watch. And little did we know her whole family would become lifelong friends.
Buena Vista and Danville Children's Guild have opened our eyes to how much need is out there and how many amazing people are doing something about it. These women do this while being full time moms, hold jobs, participate at school, and some how manage to have a great time doing it. It is so impressive that some have been part of the B Allan staff.
Some charities we have a new relationship with and are just as excited to get going on those. We may donate to these charities but they have given us so much more than we could give to them. They have humbled us, inspired us, and filled our hearts with warmth and admiration.
Please see our list of organizations we have been involved with over the years. Many of which we have a very close relationship with and even bigger admiration for. We invite you to look at some of them and learn about the amazing gifts these charities provide and become involved if you feel moved by their work.

Rett Syndrome is a debilitating neurological disorder diagnosed almost exclusively in females. Children with Rett Syndrome appear to develop normally until 6 to 18 months of age when they enter a period of regression, losing speech and motor skills. Most develop repetitive hand movements, irregular breathing patterns, seizures and extreme motor control problems. Rett leaves its victims profoundly disabled, requiring maximum assistance with every aspect of daily living. There is no known cure. Our best hope is through research to understand and develop an effective therapy to find the cure.
The Danville Children's Guild is an organization of women committed to improving the quality of life for children in Contra Costa County by raising funds for various children's charities and youth organizations. Our purpose is exclusively charitable.
The Nephrotic Syndrome Foundation is a non-profit organization supporting those diagnosed with Nephrotic Syndrome, their families and the ongoing search for a cure.
Teen Esteem educates and empowers students, parents, educators and the community on challenges young people face. We emphasize the importance of respect for self and others and that your value is based on who you are and not what you do.
Skin disease results in much physical pain, some requiring several hours of medical care per day. Additionally, and often times worse, children with skin disease experience emotional pain as a result of their appearance. Children's Skin Disease Foundation's (CSDF) mission is to improve the lives of children with life-threatening and chronic skin disease and their families by offering wonderful experiences that will enrich their lives and empower them to have a childhood without limits.
The Child Abuse Prevention Council strives to prevent child abuse in Contra Costa County by raising awareness, as well as through educational programs, home visitation and public advocacy. The Council believes that every child has the right to grow up free from the pain of trauma and abuse.
